Description:

     The Cad Zone / Crash Zone CAD diagramming course is a basic introduction to this user friendly software and is designed primarily for traffic accident and crime scene investigators.  This class will provide students with a basic knowledge of how to use the Cad Zone / Crash Zone software to create accurate, to-scale, 2D and 3D diagrams of crash and crime scenes that are suitable for presentation in court.  Students will receive detailed instruction on the tools and functions of the software and will complete hands-on measurement projects and drawings.  This class can be altered in length and level of instruction to meet the needs of the students.  More advanced topics such as importing data from a total station for use in CAD drawings can be covered as well.   Basic measuring and drawing tools, a laptop computer with administrative rights and a licensed copy of Cad Zone / Crash Zone (or the trial version) are required for this course.
